Measure Island

Somewhere above the oceans of Terrh sails a composite structure inhabited by the Sai, who dictate the metrics by which all manner of things are measured. Should one wish to know how one's life tabulates by their absolute authority, one would go on a pilgrimage to the settlement closest to their mooring, and attempt to eke out an existence among those that most closely refract their teachings; for to visit directly is both impossible and impudent.\\\\\\
///Among the pilgrims are those who attempt to coincide with the island in transit over the open sea; those who move from town to town and ravenously collect fallen detritus; and those misguided sorts who attempt to climb the dendrites that extend into Terrhan infrastructure. The last sort are mostly felled during their ascent, but some make it to the island before assimilating completely into the fuchsia veins and silver beams.
