My favourite gozleme place started skimping on the serving size and fillings

While waiting at the pedestrian crossing (on a rainy evening mind you), I opened the box, lo and behold... I was disappointed.

Unrelated to this track (as usual) but thought I'd express my sorrows with you via a jam sesh with the MC-101, Digitakt and Kaospad for effects.

First and foremost… had to look up gozleme. Why the hell didn’t anybody tell me that the Turks made a crunchwrap quesadilla magical thing! I got so distracted trying to figure out if I had to wait for the next Turkish food festival or if I could just get one now that I got totally lost in the track and had to go around again to give it a more active listen haha.

Slaaaaps. It has this 90s vibe that I’m in love with. The scratching, the break, the wobble. So good. Love the glitchy touches

I hope you can hunt down a gozleme shop where you are to experience the Turkish quesadilla!

Agreed about the '90s vibes. This leaves enough space with the lack of vocals or a lead melody that it immediately sounds like a game soundtrack to me: there's space for dialog and sound effects. Due to the tempo your first thought might have been to put this on some Wipeout style game, but the wobbly pad synth actually reminds me of some RTS games of that era like Dark Colony.

Nitpick: the first 10 seconds or so are silent, I immediately went to debug my sound setup big_smile

Hahah yeah we eased nice n slow into it. Thanks! ☺️
