Run away, don't look back

By gesceap on July 12, 2022 2:52 am

Don't look back, all the things I lack
What was done will always be
You can't really break free

I never thought I would make it this far
A falling star burning in its path
But here I am at last

Run faster than you ever could
Heart racing and sweat dripping
Brimstone burning the way it should
Deserving of my fate

An event that changed the world

this track is a voyage  - pads are perfect too

I love this instrument 0:30, it makes the song a more light and outside feeling, and the bass on here is fun to listen also. Many great parts on this, I like the drums in the end. Have a nice week smile

excellent in all categories. well done.

It really needs vocals, the text is the beginning of them, I'll finish and sing at some point

They were made in Nanoloop and exported. The drums at the end were the first inspiration for the song. Thank you for listening.

This feeling but more personal reflection on love choices less action packed, but basically the same

I have been listening to a lot of your music this year, quite varied. I'm enjoying it.

Yes! That! This really adds to the atmosphere of the track. This somehow reminds me of the Dune video game (by Cryo) soundtrack. Electronic music that also has a sense of a cinematic soundtrack. The beat work against the moody/nostalgic synth is a really nice contrast.

all these sounds from the nanoloop?! make it so tempting big_smile
i enjoy the hushed feel of everything here, creeps with a darkness i really love, almost melancholy but in a subversive way(<-hard to explain how it makes me feel, but i think that's pretty close big_smile)

So yes, everything was made in Nanoloop.

I made a pad sound in one file, exported then reimported into the song you heard.

Cool synth-noir vibe!  Never look back!!

1:01 breakdown heart

Wonderful melodies in this..

Is this the usual flow for you? Nanoloop for everything? I know you sample breaks / drums, at least, but when it comes to those funky synth bits in electro work in particular (thinking about like "don't be nice to me") -- is that also nanoloop self-sampling?

Really like this one.

Not always, like most cases it's just due to laziness. I don't want to find a pad and import so i just make one
