Idea no turning

I had no time this week.

Straight nanoloop Android export of a track I had laying around, added a few drum parts quickly, tried to give it some structure.

Techno repetitive sounds and acidy bass with strange breaks.

Cool rhythm of the fast melody, I think it's a small exiting chase. Two spiders run on a wall, then down the floor, and the low part is a mouse arriving to chase. Nice song smile

I like this story, It is a shame you didn't get to make a song this week. Thank you for the ideas

Alette's comment made me conscious that I'm noticing this kind of small-prey energy in your recent tracks, something to do with the dissonant basslines and dry treatment maybe. a sort of checkered-floor paranoia. I'm into it.

I like this description a lot. Totally fits.

I enjoy feeling uneasy at times, a way to express discomfort in escapism through music.

This is probably why the music sounds like that.

Really like the shift of frequency spectrum at 1m04 with much less of hi - hi-mids.

Nice track.

the way the beat pauses then keeps moving feels so right: like a grinding machine, pausing to let the dust settle before it keeps grinding(lets my brain grind on the groove for a bit before moving forward again big_smile)

Nice track.

Sadly I didnt have time to properly mix this, it is a bit acoustically all over the place.

very pounding, pause and pound

Feels like there's a back and forth kind of story unfolding here, could be spiders and a mouse, why not? smile

I kinda think the idee fixe of the back-and-forth is the sort of thing that gets removed / refined / "improved" when things get finished, but it's really remarkable when it is as relentless and raw as it is here (1:33 -- 2:01 -- it's not even 30 seconds but I found its obsessiveness w/ 2 identical things in a hocket to be a very effective moment: the fills seem to always distract me the first time through the track, but the second time seems a lot more repetitive -- and I'm a sucker when something succeeds at functioning differently without changing).

Old friend the 808 rimshot is still as satisfying as ever. Dope track.

808 RS always finds a way somehow

oOOOF.  Deep vibes.  Even if low on time... this bangs big time.  Love it. x

Funny i really don't like this one too much

Really inspiring structure.

Arp got me like

I was sold from the opening perc loop. Doesn't feel very far from artists like JLIN (who I also love).
