Garagere

By gesceap on June 24, 2022 10:55 pm

Ambient sung track, was meant to be sung in my garage hence the name to capture the ambient reverb but I just recorded it on the internal mic of my laptop

halfway through it gets better, did it in 4 takes so dont expect magic

As always, here is the source file for the song obviously just the backing track

Not expecting this! Nice singing, I like hearing your ambient songs smile It sounds a good beginning into your fast drums also.

I want to sing more, maybe on my next release.

I liked your song this week, it felt like wings of a bird flapping in the breeze. Simple and steady.

love the free-fall feel to this, almost like a sonic vertigo(...wait... i've never had vertigo, is vertigo 'sonic' by nature to begin with? big_smile)... could fall into this bed of dreamy-spiralling vocals forever heart

there is a certain magic in garage songs. I love this one very much.

Awesome sound! I was half expecting a skittish Vordhosbn style beat to kick in half way, but it's still good without a beat!

I'm really really glad I voted for this, this is completely not what I anticipated and completely what I needed to hear this week.

There's another ambient track you made this year that I really liked, maybe week 2? Would you consider an EP of ambient work? (I'd be on that like I am on tiramisu.)

Love those arpegios. Cool ambiance. Really like your vocals.

Yeah I want to do a few this year, I am going on a trip soon, and I am planning on doing a bunch of ambient stuff then since I will be using my phone.

It feels too loud, the arpeggios, but for a quick little idea I cant expect much.

I'm planning on making a mix of WB 2022 beats next year which will definitely use this ambient piece as an intro to more rhythmic pieces.

raw feeling

working with less so often leads to more. Great ambience only wish it was longer.

Fascinating, haunting, beautiful.

I really need time for vocal arrangements so I cut it short this time, maybe next time it will be longer
