Really real cool. I particularly like the second half. Intoxicating.

Yup!!!

Agreed, second half is the J A M.

The song kind of sounds like staying up for 30 hours (in a good way).  What is this drum machine that you are using that has awesome sounding drums?  So many submissions have virtual drums that I mistake for real and it's blowing my mind.

WHOA!  We played a show together back in 2009!

or Sunsplitter

thanks! I found it interesting people like the 2nd half better since i found the first half more solid, personally. i do like that it goes several different places while retaining the same feel throughout. as with my first week, i just wish it was a little more concise.

here are most of the ingredient that went into this track, sans the acoustic/electric. first i recorded the acoustic through the G1ON and the multistomp (2 incredibly affordable yet powerful devices). the G1ON produced the drum machine and the multistomp put the effects on the acoustic guitar.

then i ran the tape deck through the whole chain seen here to create the next track: adjustable pitch/speed tape deck, G1ON, multistomp, freeze, loveless pedal, then finally the lexicon lxp-1 which i bought pretty heavily used so it's pretty quirky sounding, kinda fried. that created the ghostly and slighly hallucinogenic sounds that are not acoustic guitar or drum machine (vivaldi tape manipulation).

this is all a pretty improvised track but some thought was definitely put into the set up. it came out with a lively feel even though it's a bit repetitive. good to meditate into the next dimension with!

thanks man! sounds like my brain lol! haha! it's funny how the brain works when sleep deprived, things get way more mystical.

The acoustic guitar has a cool timbre to it - like a deep orange sunset.

thats it youve done it now! Those guitars when they come in line was quite satisfying. Whatever this is called its effing sick!
