Sitari - Slices of reality

didn't have much time this week, going out of town to do a show at a midwest noisefest in Rock Island, IL near where I grew up. nice to play a show outside of chicago every once in a while.

so this one was a rush job and really more of an experiment. the best part about it is that it is my first shorter form piece of the year, although I think I still could've made it even shorter. i like it more towards the beginning and feel like it doesn't go anywhere, but maybe i can get some feedback on it, it has its moments.

so yeah, had to put off using the outboard gear this week, hopefully next week! here is the project i am going out of town with: http://ampyre.bandcamp.com

I like were it was going. I had some momentum carrying it even towards the end. I imagined 3/4 of the way youd cut out the sound and make it quiet. Dont know if youd want a quiet part but I could hear the swell come back in and introduce the sounds again.

i do like that idea, i accidentally had my sound cut out a few times during a 15min noise piece, and at the time it was embarrassing but after i talked to people they said they liked how it dropped out and came back. i could see that working for this piece as well. thanks for checking it out!

I like it! Lots of interesting stuff happening in here, as Mr Mort suggested it would probably work very well with a quiet part to provide some more dynamic contrast.

thanks! i have something completely different for this week. i think i might pull elements out of this one and work it into a new but related track.
