Meander

this week i had a super busy week at work and a guest all week and even more going on i won't go all into it but suffice it to say, i didn't have much time for weeklybeats.

I usually listen to at least SOME of the submissions but this was just one of those weeks where I didn't get around to hearing people's work. and I barely barely squeezed this one in. but I think it turned out good!

the busy week actually gave me the mental space to reflect on what's happened in my life in the 2020's and it was a lot of travel, or "meandering" around the country, and somehow I landed in St Louis, and it ended up being a happy space.

finally got a cat and some couches and a more happy home for the second half this year so I kick that off with this happy, positive sounding (i hope) jam on the hydrasynth explorer (get one! if you don't have one) and another track on an album of shoegazer psycherock that i'm working on. this is another "demo" of a song off that, so it's not really finished as it will be on the album. but I feel like it's good enough to stand on its own as an instrumental.

it's kinda by the books until 2:45 min in and then it starts to get a little more interesting. check it out! thanks for listening. I actually prefer creating these kernels of songs first and having them on their own in a more spontaneous fashion, to compare to the future versions.

Yes, this is excellent. I love the drums and the wall of sound you created. Hope you will have a relaxed week. See ya.
