Ethereal Plane Phantasmagoria

got to spend more time on my track this week, and you can hear two drum machine tracks, 2 hydrasynth tracks, and a bass track (plus an omitted monosynth track). the two drum machines: one is analog, one is a vsti called emergent drums. i had a ton of fun with this one, saw halloween decorations in july and it inspired me to get into some spooky stuff lately and this one might be one of the most haunting things i've ever made which is saying a lot lol.

mostly happy with the mix of it more than anything else but it is an interesting sound that is like a prog rock black metal skinny puppy. might put vocals on this at some point, not sure what i'm going to do with it but here it is in all its weirdness and supernatural glory.

This is a long development of not controllable motives, rhythms and speeds. Very fascinating. What I associate here is a fieldrecording in a meat fabrication slaughterhouse in a high pitched speed. I think it must have been thousands of steaks and schnitzels you have been chopping here. Have a cool and productive week!

tha ks! I'm mainly proud of the bass playing here but also the weird keyboards and drums

I really like that noise whispery stuff in the background during the intro of this. Sounds kinda creepy, like ghosts or something. It works really well with that sinister bass. I think it's cool how the bass carries the melody throughout. This whole piece has a really nice eerie atmosphere to it. Well done!

i feel like i just smoked an entire pack of clove cigs.
nice one!

Ha! A clove was my first cig! Glad you dug it

Nice textures, really like the unpredictability of this as that bass provides enough glue to keep it in a loosely held abstraction. Jwh has it nailed with the clove cig ref.

Very spooky. Is the Hydrasynth bringing all the reverb ghostly drones? I absolutely love the bass and percussion overtop that supernatural sound bed.
