Enigmatic Rulers

mostly programmed in FL Studio with a live intro. the main focus of this is the weird distorted synth-like instrument I made using several different vsts that weren't really analog synths. I did end up using an analog synth emulator for the secondary keyboard line. I made some beats with sort of a lofi glitchy sound that sort of appear and disappear but are usually in the piece except for the intro. again I used a d20 to determine time sig, this time it was the weirdo 9/10 time signature, which I strayed away from a few times. I think this ended up sounding like an amalgamation of some of my previous pieces, as it touches upon a lot of the styles I was working with. this almost sounds like a dr who or lexx soundtrack piece lol.

Very interesting experimental stuff man, These sounds are all very unique :]

Nice

It's cool! Man I want to hear KLF B-sides. heart

I am just pleased that someone else is using d20 to make musical decisions!!! YES! HELL YES!!! I do this with one of my projects called The Volunteers - people sign up to be in the band at the beginning of the show, and the d20 is just straight initiative for when to join the song, then we do a d4 for how loud everybody plays. Good times.

d20!

i keep them just lying around too. from all the nerds i beat up for lunch money.

but anyway, I have been meaning to incorporate rpg dice into music for a really long time, finally doing it! was a big AD&D in the early 90s when I was in jr high and high school. I indeed almost got beat up for bringing them to school at times (they hated comic books too)
