This is my continuing effort to work on an ambient track for the EZBOT discord compilation. This week was me returning to the M8 to spend some time playing with multitracking into Ableton and working with plugin reverbs.

All the sounds are built off wavetables in the M8 with the exception of the little arp at then end of the track.

I spent a bunch of time messing around with mixing, since my earlier efforts made the bass far too present. Really, just having the bass there at all brings in a whole dungeon crawler/dark ambient feel, which is fine if that's what you're going for. It isn't exactly what I was initially going for.
