By Gab Manette on September 16, 2018 5:38 pm

Wasn't exactly sure where I was headed when i started composing this, halfway through I thought it had a kind of underwater feel to it, anyways here it is!

Definitely nails that underwater feel.

Certainly water-ish, with a strong undercurrent of synthwave.

It's drowning in pretty synths.

chill-ass waterfall

Blub Blub! Sparkly fish in there!

The opening bassline definitely gives it the water feels.  Midway through the cool synth wave melody comes in oh yais!  Sweet fx and panning on the synths too.  Nice work!

Nice chill melody and progression. That submarine ping is a sweet addition!

Thank you both! heart

I love the dreamy feeling you got with this one! The softness of the sound palette is absolutely gorgeous...

I borrowed a similar submarine ping style sound in this week's compo. I know it is different but definitely had this track on my mind.  Credit where credit is due... or more appropriately, inspiration (or outright theft!).

Hehehe, that's a-ok! This got me wondering though, how old is that particular sound, this is what I found:

"In 1915, Paul Langévin invented the first sonar type device for detecting submarines called an "echo location to detect submarines" by using the piezoelectric properties of the quartz"

pretty!
