MTV in the 80's!!!! love it!

Perfection

Really nailed down the 80's flair on this one, warm and cozy like a denim jacket. Slicking back my hair.

Interesting use of that flute, really nice.

This is super groovy, definitely easy to unwind with tunes like this! Don't catch too much sun! heart

Ta ligne de basse est vraiment Nice! Good job again!

Wow that's quite the groove. Nice JOB!

Keep bringing the feel good vibes.  They are definitely appreciated!

Thanks! I was going through the D-50 patched and it struck me, I had to put it in the track smile

Happy unwinding, and thank you! No worries, I'm actually surviving on vitamin D these days, I would love to catch *too much* sun but that's not happening for a while lol

I will, I promise! Thank you for tuning in! heart heart

This style of music aged so much better than the rudimentary computer animations that were always paired with it. This is sick!

Funky Funky bass and shakers.  It's a Caribbean New Wave Party Weekend!  That D-50 sounds sweet!  Real or replicant?

Cannot believe how you re always nailing those basslines!!! This one could have been made by a young Jellybean! Absolutely digging it - I’ll put this on high rotation in my playlist!

Love it, more 80s than the 80s smile I said that about Martin DuPont the other day and then found out that they were actually from the 80s. How embarrassing hmm [*raises shades*] You're not from the 80s, are you?

My favourite melody in this song, I can't choose just one.

Very nice retro mood! Superb execution. smile

D-50 was my first 'real' synth - so much fun! Instantly recognized the 'calliope' flute sound.

So catchy. I love the back and forth between the keys and the calliope ... oh BABY

Aaaah! Thank you! I do enjoy some of the old CG stuff though, it's a bit rough around the edges sometimes but there's something charming about them; The mix between naive art and crazy choice of subject, color and geometry makes me happy!

Oh yes, gotta have my shakers!! My D-50 will now be nicknamed Roy Batty, because it's a VST smile

Oh man, Jellybean! Takes me back big_smile Thanks for the massive compliment!! The track was actually built from the bassline up, I find myself doing that often lately.

Hehehehe, many thanks! I was born in the 80s so I kinda am from there, but the music is from last week so you're in the clear! wink

heart Thanks!! I actually removed one or two because it was about to get too crowded, I'll put them in another song hehehe

Ah lucky you, I wish I had the real deal! It's one of my favorites, I want to include 'pizzagogo' in tracks too at some point, it's one of those sounds that is so instantly recognizable as the D-50, good times!

They're good friends hehehe! heart thanks for listening!

gotta love that funky bass

hot!

Haha, so good!!

I just got hold of a Sequential drum machine which sounds great!  It's in need of some repair though as I haven't had any luck fixing it.  I think you'd enjoy it too. smile

Thanks! And wow, that's a nice find! I've never tried the real thing but I agree, I think I'd have a blast! I hope you can get it repaired and take it for a spin on a WB track!

Ahhhhhwww! Les perks flute sont malade big_smile

That bass line tho. Dig the track, man. smile

This grooves so hard. The shimmer keys are legit!

Dude, @NWSPR recommended you last week to scratch my synthwav itch and he was not joking.  This is so right up my alley right now.  Love it.

Aaaah, thank you for stopping by, happy you enjoyed it!! And thanks to NWSPR for the vote of confidence big_smile

Synth sounds are fresh af. Love it

Ah, so nice and soothing...  glad you have the courage to use the dreaded pan flute patch smile  Brings back nice memories from childhood.

SO. GOOD. Fav'd. Have you listened to much THOOL? I absolutely love this genre. Would love to hear you remix Effective Pool or give any of my other tracks the airy tuned percussion treatment wink WANNA TRADE?! My other tracks I was mini mixing with this kind of stuff are determined explosion and confused program. Not linking to BSP but just to say I love this direction and legit down to collab heart

Ah, it makes me happy that this takes you back to good memories! It's probably more naiveté than actual courage, as I really enjoy this kind of sound!

Thank you so very much! heart Don't worry, I didn't take the links as BSP at all, and I enjoyed the tracks on my way back home. smile I can't do more collabs/remixes for the time being, I've agreed to a few already and it's taking me way longer to get around to them than I'd like, I hope it's ok!

It's the first time I hear about THOOL, just looked them up and it's totally up my alley smile

Totally get it! Maybe on an off year. I've got a spreadsheet going of all the remixes I've requested and am working on so yes it's a grind but it's also something I keep adding to because it works for me as a way to be collaborative in creation... asynchronously...

w0rdie! one more for you then that fits in the mini mix... https://volovibes.bandcamp.com/track/seeker

I like that, I keep a bunch of spreadsheets for different reasons, it would be difficult to think of a better format imo.

Didn't know that one either, it's great stuff! crazy wide mix too, it's impressive!

Haha, this is great. smile   Chill, like I'm driving to the beach with my best bruhs and bruhdettes, wearing denim jackets and shades on a hot summer day on a drive to the beach.
The dreamy synth and twinkling instrument that pops in about a third of the way were what did it for me.

Beautiful. This one has a bit more cheeky swing than usual. Can't help but comment on those delicious panned toms - I'm kind of obsessed with toms even though I don't use them much lol. Another top notch tune heart

Sparkle fun times! Bass has me ready to move. Gotta, say I do kinda love the pan flute preset.

Absolutely mind blowing

I love that 80s flute / shaku sound. Great nostalgic and fun track, really put a smile to my face.

Cheers! That's a great visual, I would happily go on that beach trip!
