one more time!  alternative title: beginnings end.

last song for the year, i made it?  we made it!  amazing for something started pretty much by accident on my part.  ( jeremy of red means recording posted a link in his discord and i sort of jumped onto that.  thanks so much for that!)

i like this weeks piece, especially those chord-y quiet sections, which ended up being much of the song.  the whole thing originated from a christmas song melody, but in the end only the key remained.  (i think.)

in a last dramatic twist, the op-xy is going back after all.  i think i wanted both a sequencer and a sound design thing, both of which are possible on it, but i wanted more than a really fancy op-z?  maybe the xy is more than that, but i won't find out this time, because it's going back and a digitone ii is taking its place.

so digitone was the sequencing and sounds of this, except for the tiny interlude/thing at the end.  i am quite happy with that and shall hopefully spend much of next year twiddling knobs, designing sounds and hopefully learn/try a bit more song structure.  (and naming song parts, which is possible!!)

thanks to everyone who commented and was around, that was really nice!  and thanks for making the music, i've been enjoying a lot of your sounds and am looking forward to more of them.
