bedtime bunch

(of beats)

op-z is here again, still a lot of fun, even when i kind of just put in a bunch of things.  op-1 is used as a very fancy recorder and for some destruction at the end.

i tried putting in a bit more variation than usual, but there's still an arpeggiator going for most of the piece and dominating.

also i feel like i am very slowly figuring out what i like/need in my musical tools.  i haven't been playing much with the deluge for example, and i think i haven't ever used my microfreak in a recorded piece or played with it much.  it's so interesting/frustrating that you sort of have to buy these things to try them.  (a store nearby would help a bit, or knowing more people with stuff.)  and then you need to live with them for a long while to figure out if they work for you.  although maybe i could be a bit smarter about things, waiting longer and trying more things with the stuff i have.  so let's see, maybe i'll finally sell some stuff, possibly to make room for even more/other things to get along with.

next week: maybe some really moody stuff, also played with that today, along with practicing guitar things all week.

this is great. i love the low melody that comes in @ 50 seconds. sits so nice in this very cool mix

One of my favs!

thanks!  i am glad the mix works, as it's mostly what comes out of the op-z with some minimal more audio-leveling in op-1 when recording.
