Returned to the M8 this week to conclude my first run through of the one track/one synth exploration of M8's internal synths. This one is all Macrosynth, which I guess I saved for last because I knew the options would be a bit overwhelming. I haven't used the midi out on my M8 yet so I guess next up will be one track/one synth sequencing an external synth.

fun experiment. I like it for while, but then I feel it ends up missing something. I feel like everything is disconnected - all the elements of the beat are happening separately rather than anything connecting them. they are responding to each other, and that's the best part. one answer could be a pad that stretches over more bars every here and there. or some other longer element. idk, something feels incomplete in it. not sure if this is right... it was just my impression after a couple listens. basically like a bridge of some sort! I guess there is a sort of bridge at the end, idk. but I like the general idea!
