Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting December 29th 2025 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I wanted to use the media keys on my laptop to control playback (skip/play/pause) of the weeklybeats web player so (A)I created a Tampermonkey script, which seems to do the job nicely. Script and instructions here - https://github.com/elmorg/WeeklyBeats-Media-Keys
It would be great if this functionality could just be integrated into the site at some point.

To submit/track MediaKeys support as a permanent WB feature, be sure to also add an enhancement request to https://github.com/weeklybeats/issues/issues
