grindcore or trance, hmmmmm. both sound good. how about a combo of the two?

I'm actually working on a grindcore/nintendocore-y thing right now, so I vote grindcore/trance! 
as someone with a modular synth i'm going to throw drone out there 
What does grindcore sound like? Any WB songs you can refer me to?
Also, for the theme, I suggest an idea I read on the Week 13 thread: Only four notes. You select four notes and can only use those four.

As you can probably tell im a huge fan so i second the grindcore notion.
I reckon If its undecided or something then we can do grindcore or trance one week and then do the other the next, but thats just my opinion.
Oh and keep you volume down when listening to grindcore 
I like the idea of a more technical theme, as opposed to genres. Four notes sounds interesting...
i did a four notes song last night using a modular synth.
set the quantized out of my sequencer to play only 4 notes then ran that into an oscillator as well as a sample and hold then to an oscillator. oscillators are as tuned as i could get them. i've never bothered trying to do tuned stuff and think i need to calibrate them so they don't wobble.
such a cool idea!
