Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

welp, I thought I was going to get ahead by asking, and then they spent 8 hours at my apartment working on figuring out the problem and never fixed my internet. so I didn't get my beat done cause of them, and i didn't get internet back still

yeah, as I said last time I asked, the deadline doesn't make any sense to me as a californian. in my head i have until the end of the week, not mid-day sunday, and i like to create them within the week i post. so, i just went ahead and did my thing and was hoping i'd be able to share it with the community. i know i didn't make what you guys consider the deadline which is why i didn't provide excuses . thanks for the upload link

I missed the deadline, and ironically, I was racing for 5pm and I thought I had _just_ made it, but I guess the deadline is actually 4pm... can I get a link to upload week 2? and if possible, can we get a deadline closer to midnight PST if we live in that area? sunday is often the main day i have time to work on beats and having only until 4pm is a bummer.

Thanks orangedrink. Hopefully week 53 gets released to the public and doesn't just sit there in limbo. Will check back here for more updates.
bizarre, the deadline should have definitely still been the regular time on Sunday... but it looks like the calendar probably decided since it's no longer 2016 everything is over? Hopefully they fix this so week 52 can still be heard. Going straight to the upload URL does work though so thanks for the tip there

I messed up and didn't realize the deadline was before midnight in my own timezone, can I have a late upload link for week 1?
