I had a similar issue last week. No idea what caused it, ended up having to (remotely) use a friend's computer to upload my track. *shrug*

CLINKSTER big_smile

Also MeowSynth is possibly the cutest synth I've ever seen.

Same here. Just make an electronic track that sounds metal-ish. Square waves + distortion (Guitar Rig is good for this, for obvious reasons). It doesn't have to be metal, just use metal-ish sounds and do your usual thing. For example, here's what happens when you cross metal with dubstep.

For the progress bar? That's the reason? hmm

Not sure about other browsers, but Chrome gives you a percentage down the bottom (same as how it shows a URL when mousing over a link).

Week 4 is here tongue

I intend to do the black metal

Exactly as the title says. Same thing happens with both Chrome and Firefox.

I'll try to get it uploaded properly before the deadline, but I'm planning to be asleep in a few hours. If I can't get the thing working, I'll poke the admins in the "missing a song" thread tomorrow. I've put it on Soundcloud for proof of completion time.

EDIT: Now it's being so kind as to tell me "Server (IO) Error".

EDITMORE: BTW, it's always stopping at the same place.

EDITAGAIN: Aday gave me an RDP computer to work from, got the thing uploaded. I have no idea what went wrong but I hope it won't happen again next week.

My goal is to force myself to finish tracks.

Likewise. I've got so many unfinished projects scattered about the place, and I've been making noise for years and achieved hardly anything because I just don't make myself do enough.

Unlike most of the chip tuners, I'm going to try to make MORE chippy music. Renoise/Clinkster is a new world of stuff for me, and I definitely want to call myself competent with it by the end of the year (hopefully before June wink ).

I use Ableton Live for most sound-related things (I prefer Traktor for DJing though).

I've been learning Renoise lately, though only parts of it. I've been using it with Clinkster to produce music for 4k demos.

EDIT: O hai there cTrix big_smile
