Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

My project is a joined Renoise tracker / Ableton Live effort. I don't know why, but I've lost a few hours of mix effort. Things are not rendering and I have to start over.
Can I have a later upload link. I'd love to fix this mess, but I'm afraid I won't make it on time.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that some weeks just want to forget about everything including music... but there's nothing like hearing your stream after some time, remembering the good songs and forgeting the bad moments

I spent more than I expected covering for a work-related emergency, including spending three days in isolation for a suspected positive on COVID-19 contagion, which is now fortunately proven false.
I just completely forgot about the upload link, once I finally got home. It's been a shitty week.

Things got complicated and I didn't get to my computer until Monday afternoon. My song this week is nothing to write home about but at least I could mantain my streak.

Hi! Sorry to bother you before the deadline.
It's roughly 2 hours before the deadline. I'm still on the road and I haven't got my laptop with me. I thought I synced my song to the cloud so I could access it anywhere but I left it in a local folder. There's no way I could reach my song until tomorrow morning.
May I ask for an early upload link in advance, please?
My goal is simply to last longer than I did in WB2018 but, more importantly, not get so damn stressed about hitting the deadlines.
You made some fantastic killer beats last year. Hope to see more of that coming this 2020.
Prior to 2012 I would NEVER "finish" a song, after making beats for almost a decade by that time. Since WB2012 I've made hmm, 250 tunes or so and consider 95% of them "finished" as what they are, where there's always been a few key tracks from each round of WeeklyBeats that I bookmark to come back and make a more fresh version with more time and skill gained etc.
Basically my goal is sit through a whole notebook of "things to do to those 98% finished Weeklybeats tracks" and finally put some EP out on Bandcamp.
And I'd love to get more involved in the community, maybe showcasing all the amazing talent here through a podcast.
I'm struggling to produce videos for the tracks, since Youtube is my only "social" output (No Facebook)
Is it me or Soundcloud is not working anymore (for reaching new listeners)?
