The results are in and the theme for week 4 is "Shared Melody" by the highest margin in theme history! (2012 and 2014)
Pselodux was kind enough to provide us with a melody for this theme

Sweet Suite Dawg
So I take the Gameboy and write arpeggios on all 4 channels, run that through a delay, a reverb and a wah to make an ethereal pad, while a drum machine makes the unn tss and I strum an acoustic guitar while singing lyrics as the voice in your head.
I might have to hold off on that one until next week actually...
A song with more computers than it needs
Well, the same 4 forum posts are still the only ones being posted in, so I was making sure I thought I'd do something completely unnecessary
What's new with Weekly Beats? I was absent for a few weeks but now I'm back? Maybe?
It's like drunk sexting your ex, except everyone can comment on it

That's probably a much better theme. Maybe expand it to "uncomfortable format, uncomfortable genre"?
We do a genre we don't normally do in a program/format we aren't quite used to/are familiar with.
The purpose of the theme is to help people out of their creative slumps. Technical "Challenges" like what you're suggesting do very little to help that cause in my experience.
Perhaps we should begin including challenges with the themes for bonus points, but I would still like for the theme suggestions to be actual themes.
"Uncomfortable" could be a good theme. "Uncomfortable Program" could be a good challenge.
FINGERPAINTING WITH MY FUCKING FRIENDS
I'm pretty excited about it
This week's theme is 60's Soundtrack, with 1.5 votes.
Probably a live recording of my band because I can't release the song I made
