I've been upping the average track length. Week 12 - 10mins, Week 13 - 9mins, Week 14 will be 20 minutes

Sigur Ros use to sing in Hopelandic, an unintelligible version of Icelandic that Jonsi made up just for singing.

Re: For all the Aussies - Daylight Savings Reminder (8 replies, posted in General Discussion)
according to my calculations, I had until 11am to submit...
People in Melbourne did have until 11am, but now that the clocks are wound back an hour (assuming Victoria uses the same DLS schedule as SA) it will be 10am from now on.
Here in Adelaide (30 minutes behind Melbourne) it was 10:30am, but will now be 9:30am

This is true. I'm re-inspired with my doom-y/drone-y ideas. I'm going to record a few more like Skinwalker which is rather exciting. I just can't be bothered trying. It's one of those weeks which I imagine you're unfortunately all too familiar with.

Bah, I think that's why the thread is here - non-specific rants about shit that may or may not be affecting our weekly beats experience. I'm totally not feeling it this week. I don't want to work or study or even be awake. I'm worried about the adverse affect it's going to have on an otherwise great song I had planned. I just can't be fucked working on it

Pick a week, any week and interpret the stats musically. Feed that song back into the system and allow it to then impart its own portion of influence on the next song as you follow the same process. A self-manifesting series of data interpretations.

Well you need to define 'getting worse' and then perhaps attempt to identify why. I think you're doing the right thing and I also think posting on here about it is brave. It's started me talking about my depression too which I never would have done. Also, don't think that it's 'fixable' per-say. Perhaps 'manageable' was the word I was after.

I tried meds for mine but weened myself off them against the Dr.'s advise. Needless to say, I see a different Dr. now. I think the fear of allowing it to grow is real and understandable, but try to acknowledge that recognising an issue is the only way to fix it.
