Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Ok, so I'm resurrecting the dead because I never got to listen to ANY of these submission.
How many people stuck to the theme. I can see vinpous and NWSPR did. Can I have some kind of list of Thursdaybloom themed tracks for me to listen to?

So, today is my day off. I also have tomorrow off. And the next day. I last had a day off 49 days ago. I just did 7 days a week for 7 weeks straight, which is my only answer for my absence. I haven't even been replying to comments on my own tracks, let alone listening and commenting on other people's work.
So,
I'd like those interested to list their 3 favourite works they've done over the last 7 weeks which I shall endeavour to listen to over the next couple of days. I'll never be able to catch up and listen to everyones work, so just let me know the ones you're happy with/proud of/want me to hear and I'll check them out.

covers kinda half-defeat the purpose of weeklybeats but YEAH i guess that works!
Actually, this is a good point. I was just idea dumping in text format. Although a good cover would involve creative reworking, not just a note for note translation. Instead of 'cover' maybe read 'reimagining'? I don't even know.
Hi, my name is Thursdaybloom and I'll be your theme for this week. So thinking of how I could possibly be a theme I propose the follow ideas to help:
Write the musical version of me. Put what you think of/feel about me in music form (possibly only for those who know me)
Write my theme/soundtrack. If I was in a movie, what would my motif be?
Write a song in my style. Listen through my catalogue and be 'inspired' to write 'music' in my 'style'
Do a cover of one of my CC entries. Cover, not remix, as I'll be unable to provide stems. I will, however, try and be as accommodating as possible
Write a song for me. Smash out that amazing love ballad you've always wanted to.
I'll be writing an autobiography this week to participate in this theme.
Just in comments. I found this out by trying to +1 someone's comment. I pretty much just ended up saying 1
Piano loops with software I've also made this week.
I don't feel the date submitted stat/list heading is at all relevant. All tracks go live at the very same second.
