Really sorry phesago. For some reason your week 8 isn't on the RSS feed so it didn't show up on my iTunes list. I've now added you on to the list of 58 (originally the 57). I'll update the rest of the relating stats when I have some spare time.

If anyone else has not been listed let me know and I'll add you on the list.

If anyone of the site admins have a more acurate source and want to keep this updated that would be cool.

I was thinking a star next to the artists names in the music section for the artists who's added a track every week would be pretty cool. Either that or a star on their profile page.

With 11 of the 52 weeks complete I thought I'd work out a few interesting statistics. They may not be perfect as I have worked them out based on the RSS feed linked with my iTunes account.

There have been 230 Individual Artists that have uploaded a song to WeeklyBeats.

So far there have been 1467 tracks uploaded to the site. The time to listen to all the music continuously would take 3 days, 15 hours, 46 minutes and 21 seconds.

Here is a breakdown of uploaded tracks on a week-by-week basis:

Week 1 - 134 tracks - 8 hours, 9 minutes and 12 seconds
Week 2 - 147 tracks - 8 hours, 40 minutes and 14 seconds
Week 3 - 147 tracks - 9 hours, 10 minutes and 11 seconds
Week 4 - 150 tracks - 9 hours, 2 minutes and 41 seconds
Week 5 - 143 tracks - 9 hours, 21 minutes and 46 seconds
Week 6 - 137 tracks - 7 hours, 49 minutes and 51 seconds
Week 7 - 130 tracks - 7 hours, 28 minutes and 36 seconds
Week 8 - 127 tracks - 7 hours, 22 minutes and 24 seconds
Week 9 - 125 tracks - 7 hours, 30 minutes and 13 seconds
Week 10 - 114 tracks - 6 hours, 57 minutes and 48 seconds
Week 11 - 115 tracks - 6 hours, 16 minutes and 15 seconds

This works out to an average of 133.36 uploaded tracks a week and an average time of 7 hours, 54 minutes and 37 seconds.

The average length of each track is 3 minutes 35 seconds.

The highest number of tracks in a week was in Week 4 with 150 uploads. 65.22% of all artists uploaded a track in this week.

The lowest number of in a week was in Week 10 with 114 uploads. 49.57% of all artists uploaded a track in this week.

The largest week by length to date has been week 5 with 9 hours, 21 minutes and 46 seconds.

The shortest week by length to date has been week 11 with 6 hours, 16 minutes and 15 seconds.

Most significantly, 58 artists have upload a track every week without fail since the start of WeeklyBeats 2012. This is 43.28% of the original 134 artists in week 1 and only 25.22% of the 230 artists overall.

If you're one of the 58 artists on this list, I congratulate you for making it this far.

But even after writing all this, the best part has been how awesome the music has been!

edit: the addtion of phesago to the 58 (originally the 57) if anyone else has not been listed let me know and I'll ad you on the list.

Finally got it in with a half hour to go. Just needed to tidy up bits and record it.

Mine will probably be something I write today on a 30 hour flight to the other side of the word for two years.

That would be pretty cool. I wouldn't want to use all my time manually downloading all 136 songs (yes, i counted them all) when I could be listening to them all on the go.

It's up. I decided to go for something non-chiptune.

I may not be able to submit the best song of the week (yes I know this isn't a competition) but I can always try for the most bizarre.

may your ears be warned...

I'm in.

This is going to be nuts. Expect some weird stuff from me.

I'll be using this as a testing/development lab for learning different trackers and chip hardware other than lsdj.

But expect possibly:
-lsdj
-famitracker
-trumpets and other brass insruments
-my kazoo
-a shit midi keyboard
-even just shit windows midi
-loops and samples
-garage band
-my ukelele
-my out of practice vocals
-whatever percussion from household objects as I can
-mario paint (not the composer, the real thing)

I'd also really love to learn to play a hang drum. Those things are damn awesome... if you can ever get your hands on one.
