So, if people are coming to this Blip Festival thing - be sure to set aside some time to come to the pre and post parties, and also whichever workshops still have spaces free.

Hi SAWFAY! I really liked your top ten songs from the song a project.

Looking forward to hearing all of your contributions this year smile

Im sure there will be a few WeaklyBeaters in the audience as well...

There is a ridiculous amount of CC / public domain stuff that can be used for WeeklyBeats.

I just ordered the parts to build 100 fixed-frequency oscillators. Though they probably won't arrive until just before Blip Festival, so I will probably be super busy and won't have to time to sit down and meditate with my soldering iron until the week after.

In the mean time, I have some ideas... acoustic bass guitar? noise? chilled out iphone loops? elevator music for a building that is on fire? etc?

There's a joke in there about beating off into socks every week but I can't put it together into a well-delivered zinger for the life of me.

Agreed - would have made a pleasant joke.

I need some WeeklyBeats socks.

Just picked up my hydrophones from work. Cutting it fine as usual. Gonna go home, eat some pie, drink some wine and make some sounds.

Make a good MIDI sequencer for the iPhone. I will purchase it.

Why 101BPM?

I'm still going to go the hydrophone route. Fingers crossed it doesn't all turn to poo.

Seconded SunVox. Also, Nanoloop is quite fun and can bring out some stark, simple and beautiful sounds.

holy balls, where did this week go? :S

awesome, brady!
