While i was taking a chill from making tunes, i decided to make a Dead Format profile showing off all my records.

I reckon nows a better time than ever to have a Dead Format designated thread.

If you own records and you want to show it off like a fancy pants poodle on fancy Pants Poodle Day, or if you want to do some trades or business with other fellow vinyl lovers, then making a profile isn't the worse idea smile

Is it better than Discogs?

Not sure, i think Dead Format is a lille more user-friendly, but i dont have a Discogs account so i cant say for sure. Most of my mates has Dead Format though so thats why i went for it.

sure, why not. I'm on a ton of other sites, might as well show off my records! not that I have anything special, except for maybe the Frontier limited edition vinyls I picked up at one of their rare shows (they hardly ever play anymore but one of the best bands Chicago has ever spawned).

My mum owns some Godspell record.
Me and my brother used to scratch on it in the hopes of destroying it.
Bloody thing still sounds 'decent'.

why

Because I want to catalogue all the vinyl I've been accumulating over the years, and it seems like a good way to try and trade for some rare ones I've been trying to find
