I only have the vaguest notion of what shoegaze actually is, but if this is an example I should start looking for more of it.  I liked the first half.  I liked the second half.  It beggars belief that they're the same genre, though.

Man that vocal performance opening up the track is so dreamy and really sets the mood for the track. I would like to hear the vocals brought more forward in the mix though, if I weren't reading the lyrics I don't know if I'd even recognize that they were there . When the breakcore hits, it's dope. That slow bassline toward the end is a really nice touch as well. Really forward thinking music.
