Field Collage 10a

By fieldcollage on January 8, 2020 6:14 pm

field recordings cut up and manipulated in audacity
this procedure made up most of my practice from 2015-2019
10a was assembled in april '17

includes:
- a garbled story about hagop sandaljian
- mmmm, water (lake michigan)
- a plane flies over the university of chicago harper quadrangle in june of 2016
- stolen strings

re-processed with new techniques

I'm impressed that you did this with audacity. It's so nice to hear some musique concrete. Lovely work.

Had to look that up.

Nice work!

This sounds like it could be in the middle of a godspeed you! Black emperor album. It's relaxing and kind pulls me into your world. What do you use to record out in the field?

that's a huge complement, thank you!

I just use a zoom h1 and an h2n

I think the voices and strings from this ditty were actually recorded with a humble iphone 4s!
