Waiting for the flood

By fetalface on February 22, 2026 9:15 pm

I thought this one was going to go someplace more interesting, but I ran out of time. Alas!
OH YEAH but on the plus side it DOEs sample last week's track from N_ronvaldez! https://weeklybeats.com/n_ronvaldez/mus … turtleneck

thank you kind soul

loving your vocal harmonies and the marching feel.  Such a cool effect with the panning on the sample too.

Crazy huge vibes with an ominous chant!

(in a good way)

thx so much for listening!

Digging what I am hearing! Nordic influenced folk music. Astoundingly moody and dark composition. The pacing is just about right to create that tension what the track is willing to provide in spades.
Rewinded few times to grasp it fully and soak in the nuances. This did not disappoint. Quality!

Much Respect + Peace!

I'm flattered, fetal!

Doooooom! Metallic ritual drums and swirling alien drones. A forceful hardness to your voice this time, dried ground in the desert. A pair of voices, actually, circling disaster but never quite resolving to it (always love the subtle things you do with vocal harmony). And a traveler who has left our narrator to grief and whatever comes next. Is it weird this feels like some gothic western to me?

Huge and horrifying. Love it. It's like a sermon in an ancient sewer in the ruins of a metropolis.

Oh yes, pound me in the face with that industrial clanging.
Love love love the vocal harmonies, so awesome.

i wish i could be this musically scary

this is really some cult ritual murder music wth

What he said!! The creepy banging and the chanting harmonies set a really ominous tone. Nice!

Oh that is quite wonderful. The drums sound reminds of Tom Waits, where texture is more important than perfection. That choir of singing is eerie and strange, the harmonies are strange and disturbing. I wish the lyrics were written down as I can never pick up English lyrics from songs. But it's evocative. And the screaming robot synth is really nice! Loved it.

Love the chanting vibe going on!

This is fantastically eerie and foreboding! I really like vocals on top of just the drums like that. Gives it a really interesting sound. Really tells a story!

This is great! Love your singing, dig those tight interval harmonies.
