This nice song is chugging along.

The finale at 2:00 satisfied me. WOW

I like how the hihats? cross over the time of the song.  Creates this cool tension and the vocals work well.

Thanks y'all! The "percussion" is a field recording of a freight train at the end of the block where we live, they often idle overnight and make truly interesting sounds. This song was written with our friend Ezzie in mind, she took her own life this summer and her presence is sorely missed. Please stay with us, weekly beatniks! You are needed here on earth.

so sad to hear of your loss

Sorry to hear.  I just lost a close friend myself.  Never easy.

Great use of the rhythmic field recording.  Works a treat.
