So the challenge this week for myself and Pyure was to create something in true MIDI style, using only the instruments available in a GM 1 implementation (https://www.midi.org/specifications/item/gm-level-1-sound-set) and with the output being a .MID, something neither of us have really tried before. This is the result of my probably rather silly efforts, rendered to a FLAC by OpenMPT (so using its built-in instruments) then out to a MP3. While I'm actually kinda pleased with it (lol goblins) I can only imagine what the reactions of the fellow weekly beaters will be!

Happy to share the actual .MID if anyone's interested! I have the urge to dress a DOOM level around this, assuming I pull my finger out long enough I'll share it here or something as well. The track sorta loops in case this actually ends up happening.

I could definitely see running around in a Doom WAD to this. Curious to see what you have in mind if it ends up happening. I like that track title a lot too, very sinister and eye catching.
