I meant to do this a while back, but never did. For those who don't know, the Australian government is attempting to implement mandatory ISP-level data retention for all users.

It's pretty shitty, in a long line of pretty shitty from this (and the non-Gillard previous) government(s). I'm not usually one to politicise music (am I? Maybe…) but I thought this would be fun.

In this age of societal hypochondria and what I hope is the last gasp of middle-ages derived governmental notions of populace control (through fear), it's likely quite widespread indeed. I don't really know how far this nonsense got elsewhere though.

Quite a nasty governmental tendency, there's a similar program in Europe.
But a great track to counter the political shittiness!
