Final Boarding Call for Lido

By fc on May 11, 2014 8:39 am

So I spent most of the last week in Portland (VIC, SW Coast) doing part one of a project. Decided to do something responsive, ish. This is done on my iPad using Samplr, and is a recording (with iPad mic) inside a cafe called Lido Larder - excellent, a recording of me clicking my fingers in said cafe, and a recording of the locomotive train ride home on Saturday.

Portland is cool. But now I have a man-cold - the worst of all colds.

Well, that certainly woke me up; I can't say I love it, but I appreciate the way you keep pushing the envelope. Portland project sounds intriguing -- "all non-offensive contributions" welcome, indeed. Hope you feel better.

rather intense

Haha. No, I don't really love it either. I certainly enjoyed "playing" it (and "rehearsing" it over the last couple of days), but the end result? Well, it is what it is.
Thanks for the well-wishes.

In a good way?

This is crazy but I love the experimentation here!

Rather intense, in a good way, to me! Get well soon!

Thanks for listening! Samplr is pretty rad - only kind of getting the hang of it.
