Dysfunction ft. snowflake (VG Climb Remix)

Another remix, kinda trip-hoppy I guess. Vocals by snowflake - http://ccmixter.org/files/snowflake/46576 - and what a great song!

Otherwise all Ableton, all rather quickly done.

Glad you like it, Paul!

Wow! This is sublime. And the backing tracks are superb as well. Definitely a highlight of this week's entries.

Great blend of textures and dynamics reminds me of Mchine gun a bit.

The bass drum is killer! Excellent harsh analog percussion... sounds like an Nord Beat 1. Once the bass comes in, the whole think takes a lot of cohession.

Nicely done remix

Thanks very much! It was great source material - including the vocal backings.

Machine Gun? By Portishead? Something else? Glad you like it.

Thanks. I can't remember what kit it is in Live. The bass part is derived from the main vocal melody, so it glues everything together. smile

This!

Brilliant one, love how the vocals and backing tracks work together in this track!

Thanks! I really wanted the backing vocals to give unity to the sliced vocals.
