Anthem for 2016 (ft. Tiasu)

And here we are. Featuring my very good friend, Saska (aka Tiasu).

I've been planning to do this piece since the start of the year. I wanted to kind of tip a hat to my own "experimental dance" music stuff, along with borrow the immensely catchy riff from Saska. Didn't quite work out how I initially envisioned, but I'm pretty happy with it. I also wanted to tip my hat to the original, so I aimed for some 80s inspired stuff.

Transitions are very harsh, intentionally.

It's been swell, Weeklybeats.

This is definitely worth repeated listenings; lots to digest.

Thanks for a year of interest.

neat smile
The middle and the end feels great, this is very much a cooked up dance track by the stylings of you.

and congratulations on 52 entries also!

Quite a departure from the 'usual' material and quite a trip too.  Definitely a heap of interesting ideas in there to listen to.  Hopefully catch you in Melbourne one time!

Yes, or Adelaide. I've made it a priority this year to do a gig or two in Adelaide. smile

Thanks! Will do!

I wanted to thank you for listening and commenting through all this WB, Vinpous. Our styles are quite different but it was always refreshing to witness a different approach to music making.

And about this track: original, different and still sounds like you.

Best wishes and hope to see you in a new WB edition and in new projects. Happy New Year !!!

You think so? I thought it was pretty in line with others of its ilk from the year. But glad you like it!

Brilliant track. Kind of different sounding that what I expected, but still sounding very much like you.
Best wishes for the new year!

Great track. Harsh transitions are what make it even more interesting.
