wooo - trying to go back to add my lil 'journal entries' that are nice to reflect back on over time. this one was a super fun one, inspired by

from week 1. i started this one on the thursday before, and was on a train for 2 hours so was able to get a good session in. spent some time over that weekend with some creative friends of mine, so was able to really get into a groove and lay this down. i went to edc vegas last year for the first time, and went with these friends. i saw tchami live for the first time and just remember feeling like a rodeo rider with the dirty bass and bangers that kept coming from him. so just decided to go all out high energy, non stop, buckle up buck.

this made me so happy to read, i'm like 'finally! a banger!' - my stuff from 2022 was so...dark and minimal (ey, it was what it was, had to come out), so been wanting to make a high energy upbeat banger for a while. hopefully more emerges this year!

was browsing my sample library to put things out quicker, and came across this one that i modified the clip some and then chopped up. it was dirrrttttyyyy so i was like yeeeessssss - glad you enjoyed it!
