started playing around with a single plug-in to get started. found some interesting starting interval that i gravitated around for the rest of the themes/motifs(?), which i just used different presets to build upon. added in some rain and thunder layer based on the vibe that was coming out. once i got stuck with arrangement, i kind of thought about what story is wanting to be told, and then all of a sudden a certain iconic one, and its iconic scene came to mind so that's what i went with to flesh out the arrangement and playing with storytelling and samples.

I randomly discovered that the National Theatre in England did dual productions of Frankenstein in 2020.

Directed by Danny Boyle, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller.

The amazing twist: The two productions had the lead actors switching the roles of "the creature" and Victor Frankenstein!  I'm really interested to check it out.  Thanks for writing this track (and great sample) so I could share this story with someone smile
