Its messy. Watched 6 movies this week. Watching after partner's parents house. Garden care taking mostly. Enjoying back yard access. They are on an Alaskan Cruise. Dropped them off in SF. Visited the exploratorium, guitar center, and Blick. Drove partner down Lombard street for quick tourist experience. Growing up in the area, she never did the common tourist things. Bike rides to the house. Watering plants, reading, M8, games, naps outside. Stressful Vet visit for Ruby. Good health but older now with a pound weight loss. Waiting on Blood results. Did not get the contract job. Client had someone in mind already. College friend R moved back to Southern California. Talked about comicon, his wife, and daughter. Shared pictures of old college friends. Meeting with friends for the evening. They are making Japanese curry post honey moon trip. Picked up RoboCop Bluray talked with worker about conan the barbarian. Prior day picked up Alien box set. ReDiscovered thin slicing concept when at used book section with book Blink. Also picked up PKD Ubik and Annihilation. Frustration about communication working on it. Positive direction. DS9. Possible work in the future. Limited Direction. Wedding, work, and children. Tight timelines. Bad health report for partner. Tech? Promised consideration for future contracts. Limited limited and indecision not good combo. Feel overwhelmed but focused. Generally good days this week though.

Started a few ideas. Busy weekend. Created generative system at 4 am and recorded output. First render did not fire later watery sounds properly. Second render was fine but decided I didn't like the ending. Adjusted the automation for the last section and it felt correct.

Generative system built around Ableton's Drift synth. Limited to play 4 notes at a time with double stacked arpeggiated midi set to chords. Notes were randomized but set to a scale I discovered with playing with piano roll. Output ran through reverb. Set channel to sends only. Sent out put to sends network built on feedback, delay, reverb, and vocoders in different configurations. Automated some fades and send adjustments accross a minute to help add structure. Main ran through mastering suite with additional automated effects to help ensure a comfortable ending. Allowed for extra fade out time. Rendering was deciced on to make the results more exciting to review.

Designed specifically for WB specs. Not too interesting but good quick exercise in easy experimentation and sound design. Made another project starts but did not pan out. "W31 - Linearparadidle" (immigrant garden? Or Garden) and LinPara.

I think that's all the work of the reverb reflecting around the different frequencies around in the algorithm. I think I had the dry/wet set to 100% to smear everything together. It's interesting to see what harmonics end up coming out. With different settings you end up with different resonances popping out.
