Fully recovered by Monday. Previous weekend was touching to see the family meeting at memorial on father's death anniversary over a decade out. Interactions with VTC ok. Shared hotel with AL. Discussed need for unplanned activity multiple times. Unsure if it was fully understood but WIP. Enjoyed listening to albums on drive. MT's father passed. Accepted SMAGFEST contract. Fought new bike setup. Quick rack installation. Stayed in mostly. Tried to re-regulate self. Not successful. Counting small wins. Researching camping opportunities. Anxiety about not doing things. Stuck. Acceptance of life path. Somethings not destined for in life. Ambitions smaller and some given up on. A bit immobile. Talked eloping. Old coworker in Vogue magazine. Partner making ceramic creations. Discussed autism and neurodivergence briefly. Establishing principals for personal creative and career journey. Going to Art fair and seeing partner's parents. Will watch house while on cruise.

Created quick session on syntakt and improved tweeking and muting layers. Originally exploring polymetric patterns. Later experiementing with recording process with Overbridge. Never enjoyed the Overbridge experiences previously. Still feel the same. Ended up using the stereo audio in. Added some character before mastering stage. Added fade out verb because it sounded a bit nicer. Spent an hour earlier in the week to build pattern. Did one take recording several days later at 4AM. Forgot some of the jam techniques discovered during pattern creation. No Camping spots open for the rest of the year. Think of replacing single speed frame. Introduced Short People song to AL. Family conservation issues running in head. Simulations always. Read in the park at new spot away from shoreline.

I'm with BarristerPlong! love the metallic sounds and the unrelenting beat.

I really appreciate your write-ups - so much can happen in a week. This track definitely put me in a bit of a trance, nice to tune everything else out while listening. Bass is particularly cool and active.

Thank you! Syntak's FM stuff really excels at those sounds and the simplified engines with complex control options really opens doors.

Thanks! The write ups help to keep me organize and have been a nice ritual this year. I'm glad I've been doing them. They have already saved my butt a couple of times with I've been looking for old files and trying to remember things I did or different inspiration points. It's also been cool to see people respond to them though that is more of an unintended perk.

I was trying to give the bass a bit of an acid TB-303 flavor but the analog filter on the syntakt aren't so great at that. It ended up being it's own thing in a way. Sometimes thats better. I think this one came out better then my last techno attempt at least. The hypnotic element is more there.

Sounds like the Tresor vault was hidden deep in a cave in some untouched forest, somewhere.

That techno hits hard! Love the restrained FM bass behind the sick kick.
