Back home from. Week filled with getting used to old routine again. Some responsibilities ignored. Time suck and anxiety but very little momentum. Discussed feeling disconnected from work culture and seeking environments suitable for my personal needs. Trying to squeeze in more exercise time and rebalance. Uneventful but pleasant time with partner. She met with old intern. Experimented with old 2-way radios found in old home. Fought with VTC before leaving about nothing really.  Bought tickets to Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works listening party.

Uploading early. Weekend is full. MT's b-day, friend's send off for honey moon in japan, and who knows what else?

Created in preparation for Magwest/fest. Preparing new songs for Delorean Overdrive. Attempted to push in a more pop direction from the previous synthwave/retrowave 80's inspired songs. Vocals will be filled and song restructured with bandmate's takes pass. First of 7 song attempts to gain some traction. Want to move away from pure vocoder vocals. Writing to demo for bandmates the direction proposal. Tried to use samples only from drum machines we have access to. Will record off of the real 909 and Linn Drum if song works out.
Mostly hand played multi tracking for synths. Need to buy parts to solder CV adapter for MG-1 to eurorack trig standard. midi conversion possible if that is the case.

Lyrics are a bit corny but it matches the project. Imagining person looking to the stars and thinking of friend/lover in space. Could be metaphorical or could be litteral. Intention is to make it more about a feeling of missing someone. Want to keep it vague. Might completely scrap. All depends on bandmates reaction, additions, and modifications. Incomplete song but complete proof of concept demo.

The pulsing kick with that opening synth line sounds so nice and tight.  Like I just hopped on my light bike to OUTRUN the sunset smile   Excellent drum fills that lead into the main beat.  Sweet percussion that bounces around the stereo field too.  Well done!

i like the feel of this. really cool melody, especially the one coming in on the "really wish we had forever" section!

Thank you. The bandmates seem to be into it so this one might actually get fully produced with a proper singer tongue

Triumphant, fits the scene you described. Looking to Jupiter always bring hope, not that I know where I'm looking in the sky, but one can imagine. Hope the band likes. Oh, looks like they did, cool! I like that process of proposing something to collaborators. I liked the vocals you did. The mix of the effected and cleaner is awesome. There's a drop a bit ways in that got me.

Loving the pop feel and the playful 909 snares. This one's a keeper, in my book

Sweet pads and nostalgic vibes! The shuffled 909 surprised me. :-)
