W14 - Selda

Generally optimistic week. Feeling pressure for work. Old Diagnoses restored. Researching about it. Store owner passed away due to aneurysm. Last days of Plantbabe. Bought 5 handmade notebooks. Discussed partner's designs for contract. Cappy. Finished Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep and started Roadside Picnic. Built a Klon clone. Watched do Annihilation. Optometrist. Late night working on track day before. Closer to optomised perspective. Minor productivity.

Gear Used:
Dirtywave M8
Roland S-1
Tascam DR-40

Gear Sampled:
Yamaha RX-11

Software Used:
Ableton
Ozone 10

Stereo recording hot off the device. No Stems. Mastered in ableton. Tried using Bastl Bestie but the stereo feild did not sound correct. Impact hits sound design project shared in this weeks Ableton files. No direction just a lot of playing with slicing and detailed percussion sequencing. Lazy composition not smooth transitions. Interested in trying another Poly synth option but no battery powered ones in production that fit the bill. At least want a second oscilator.

The range/timbre of sounds you used is so excellent. This is just oozing with texture all around. Percussion is super tightly designed and has really enjoyable variation.

Thank you, I was pretty happy with how the some of weirder percussion manipulations came out but wasn't sure if it was too much. It's mostly just a lot of sequencing to imitate echos, flams, Ratcheting, dynamics, and panning to cartoonish levels. I appreciate the listen!

There's an air of danger in this
