I don't know what those swoops are, but I really like them.

One of these days the Great Pumpkin will reveal himself. I agree the swooshing sounds are cool. The vocal by itself at the end was nice, too.
This swoop swept me in (with 3 kids, I am allowed to do dad jokes).
omg so embarrassing! STOP IT DAD
(the swoop was really engaging and a nice template for the song to sit atop of)
Enjoyed how your vocals sounded in the mix. The reverb and space of everything just sounds so calming especially that anthemic outro. *lighters in the air*
Oh and I checked out the first few tracks of the Rutabega. Awesome indie rock sound JWH has going on that. High five to his awesome productivity.
i remember these vocals from a different context, love em so much, this one’s so great, too.. it’s beautiful to hear the details of your voice shine out even brighter here <3
thank you Raja! i was gonna go another direction with the swooshes and kept hearing that song & thought - well why not try to use the vocal stems... hey this fits
Swooshing good
thanks jimmac! drone operators know things about swooshing

thank you wizard!!! for all the listening & nice words!
You make a great duo! Vocals are a perfect match up with the shimmery guitar. Cool backward sounding drum sweeps.
Yeah that backwards stuff is the bomb. Absolutely love the rhythm of that against the guitar. So good!
The ending, though ... holy shit. Not sure if the J.R. Baxter's This World is Not My Home was meant to be consciously referenced or not but that's what I heard. Could listen to that ending refrain for an hour. Amazing moment
(If you ever do a best-of-Emily album, this better be on it!)

those sounds (backwards & guitar) were just loops that i probably added more reverb to
this started out as something else with the backwards sounding loop and all of sudden i heard "waiting" and couldn't unhear it all mashed together...
i can't say i know that song - but it might be in the subconscious somewhere as my mom had a hymn book she used to play songs from on the piano sometimes...
the end i thought might be too long - thank you for the note = will consider
i was putting together a playlist to start thinking about another bandcamp offering & this was in the running so that feed back helps - THANK YOU
