Wonderful evocation of the season! Time to put out extra chow for the birds (including crows), skunks and raccoons.
Sounds like a big moon rising on a cold evening. Emerging from the clouds.

Technically the Capricorn solstice, Southern solstice or December solstice, since it's Summer in the southern hemisphere.
