It's Sunday night here, and this track's vibe is currently out-Echoesing the actual Echoes program on NPR.

tis a perilous tale of a lost civilization that believed it was impervious to natural disasters, they sang, they drank, they did nothing about the impending doom! and then it happened...
i got lost in your perilous track heart

I love the hand-played melodies on this. reminds me a bit of Ochre and a bit of Tangerine Dream. your voice at the end is great too when you start peeking out over the synths.

The start bells/e-piano already give me an anticipation vibe. I expected a resolution in a while but it never comes. Instead, the high stringy lead comes in, making this song more of a descriptive piece, along with some voice-like pieces in the background.

The sudden change after two minutes makes everything fall into place. This is a trip hop piece. The delicate vocal seals the deal. Very satisfying!

Wow. Love how you transition at the middle. Great mood.

my highlight this week. thanks.

The music is catchy and somewhat trance inducing.  The change at the 2:00 mark is really effective.

Love how this builds and changes up around 2 minutes, didn't see that synth phrase coming, yet it makes perfect sense. Really nice.

Love the intro but even more so the transition into the next beat driven section.  It has a nice build effect that unfolds when the arps and beat kick in.  Your vocals add that final touch filling in the stereo field so nicely.  Nice work! smile

Bell/piano melody on top of the vinyl scratch makes for a very nice melody. Are there animals in a distant layers? I may be imagining things but that's what it sounds like around 1:42. It may be vocals or distant echoes but that sounds like distant owls in the night. I like how the dynamic of the track changes around 2:01.

Lovely melody and sounds you've chosen. Wow, this gets into a swell groove too, voice awesome as always! Sparkly bells are swell swell, nice one!

that's a very rare emily owl - there are 3 layers of backing vocals buried & i think what i was singing sounds like hooting wink

Spectacular in every way, love how every element’s introduction switches the track into a decidedly new territory: from a developed loop to the synth bass to the vocal lead and that darkly beat with an 80s beat. heart

(Listened to this a lot, and it gets better on subsequent listens!)

Wow, love the direction this takes at 2:33 when that club beat kick comes in.  Everything jells together in a very satisfying way.  Very nice production chops!

Great interplay between the layers! What a fun and ethereal beat!

EMMMMMMMMM this is so tite

the second half drop is just insane.  i was content to just vibe out but then that bassline comes and the big beat and then you are really killing it on these xylophoney thingies this year.  I think I need josh to do a super loud distorted guitar chord right before the outro.

great textures, variety, great arrangement with the two halves, great track length.  very cinematic, very emily
