that ending... goodness

thank you, emily

wow the build up to the ending and that final release felt like I was Atreyu trying to help Artax through the swamp but with a positive uplifting hopeful feeling on the horizon.  Great job!

I love the mechanical kitty purr sounds. It is like Music For People Who Like Cats.
I loved the vocal ornamentation on "the sun," do you feel like weekly beats has helped you improve your vocal technique? You're so consistent, it is admirable. Thank you!

I am getting paranoid. Now I see and hear drones everywhere. I did not expect them in your song. Your beautiful voice and spirit have chased them away in the end. Good so. Have a beautiful week, Emily

╰( ⊹o⊹)╮ ... the sound design on this track is wonderful!! Just entrancing.... like an electronic didgeridoo in the best possible ways... I'm legit lost in it... bravo.

Well put. heart Those dueling buzzy basses are pleasantly soothing in a hypnotic sort of way. Awesome work. Hang in there.

just hold...
so cool and dreamy!!!! very nice work!

That oscillating buzz sound is awesome, feels like crickets from another planet. Beautiful and serene, esecially the ending. The solstice nears, ready for days to get longer.

Wow this textures are great. It does remind me of digeridos. the words "hold steady" gave me chills. I think hold steady is a good mantra for life. I'm trying to write down some mantras like that to return to and sit with. Oooh, its powerful when the textures drop and and we just have the light shining through in the last part of this piece, just lovely.
I just commented on Tone Matrix track from last week about how this time of year is challenging, the loss of light, less outdoor time in colder climates takes a toll. Good music and some good mantras sure help, so thank you!

i hope you feel the return of the light lift your spirits more and more each day - "hold steady" has kinda been a message i've been getting all year but feel like it's carrying into 2025 - though personally i'm hoping for some forward motion soon!  but if we all can come at change from a steady space i'm sure that would be helpful smile wishing you & yours all the best in 2025

could you have imagined q-rosh when we were little that so many drones and satellites etc. would be cluttering up our air space?  sorry to spread the paranoia but the global energy just feels so intense right now - i see sad news coming from your neck of the woods - i do hope you are finding some cozy and peace as the year winds down - heart wishing you & yours all the best in 2025

you know this year i've felt my voice not feeling so strong - i've had WB years where I think I was practicing and singing more... but maybe the recordings were not the best after like 6 years of a weekly practice of sorts i've learned more tricks in the processing end...

i felt the strongest vocally back in high school when i was taking voice lessons weekly, singing in 2 choirs and doing musical theater - but even then often felt i lacked power and control - i also felt vocally really strong and confident supporting the rutabega especially when we got back from touring a lot but none of those were my own songs in keys i could control playing in etc...

i keep telling myself to get into at least a weekly practice of vocal warm ups but have yet to take this on...

i have no idea how i've managed to be so consistant with WB something about that ticking clock... wish this would translate to other area's of life wink

Well, I can tell you that from here it sounds like your voice is getting stronger! For whatever reason this song made my ears prick up and notice it. I look forward to listening to the rutabaga, but your voice singing your own songs is where the magic is for sure. I do hope that you & me & jwh can collab in the coming year, but please know that I will be late & lazy smile Happy 2025
