Beautiful vocals with such sorrow in them.
There's some urgency in the music here. It's like she is chasing him, but it's not the final taxi-to-the-airport romcom sequence. This is more like the moment in the middle of the story where things unravel. Where things get complicated. Like it doesn't seem like there might be an out of the situation, but there always is one in the end. At least I want to believe that. In this world, we need happy endings. We deserve some happy endings.

THIS IS SO GOOD!!!! I particularly love the single note high pitched synth at around 1:20, 1:40, 2:00, 2:20 (and beyond). It's so simple yet marks such a strong emotional beat. Fantastic stuff, very good way to finish the year!

Joking aside, I actually am super envious of how you always seemed able to find a gif that was IMPOSSIBLY relevant. I've stared at that gif selection screen for MINUTES before finding anything usable. Here we are! A beautiful end to the year. Really enjoy the feeling of this one, and the absence of percussion gives this a levitating mysterious quality. The lyrics have me thinking of the bittersweetness of time passing, and all I'd have liked to hold onto just a bit longer. Thank you for all your music, kindness, and gif-mastery this year!
