I've been feeling the effects of the heat dome and it has been miserable, but this track isn't miserable at all.  Dig the kind of funky feel of the music.  It works really well with the ethereal vocals.

oh Nevada friend you doin' ok?  staying cool & hydrated?

Nice funk undertones in this one. Hope you're holding up okay in the heat. heart This is one of my least favorite times of year for that exact reason.

Hanging in there.  Staying inside as much as possible or getting in the swimming pool.  Had to move heavy equipment in 110 degree heat last Thursday for work, which wasn't fun, but at least isn't a daily occurrence.  Hope you all are hanging in there also!

Love when that bass line comes in, so good! Summer came fast and hot, stay cool. This song was great

Sorry to hear about your heat conditions. Weather here is still pleasant and wet. I like the African-funk beat and especially the bassline. Your voice is wonderful in this track. Awsome stuff.

Funkee.

Feelin those sweltering heat vibes immediately with the funky drums and even funkier bass from the jwh.  The drums and bass groove are the summery heat feels while your vocals give visions of rainfall reflected in the concrete jungle.  It def has been huuuuumid down here especially with all the rain we just had.  ACs needed fo sho! or lots of ice cubes.  Stay cool n hydrated! \m/

Under the heat dome here as well. Love the spacey, languid vibe - fits that feeling when it's just too hot to do anything but lie down on the coolest floor you can find.

Feelin’ the funk of this one. Beautiful. Weed kicked in right around the same time as a bass. Niiiiice. Good stereo placement.

Totally true. The vocal melody is perfect for this! The drum pattern has its own wonderful syncopated logic, the bass grounds us, while the keys (Mellotron?) keep things unsettled. Fantastic work!

Chill vibes / hot track

I love the funky vibe on this.  Love me some auto-wah, and the bass is just perfect all the way through out.

Please give us the heat dome, had to cover the veggie garden for risk of frost a couple nights ago.  Some tasty drums and like the dubby vibe of this with the floating vocals, very smooth.

Everything slows down with the heat, at least that's how it feels in the song. And enjoyable swaying rhythm, reminds me of lounging around, under palm leaves, sipping something cold.

Here in estonia we have still been spared from extreme heat but have had surprisingly many thunder storms and heavy rain

A wonderful shoegazey track about the climate collapse. (Stay cool!)

If I can have one nitpick: usually low-frequency stuff like bass drums and bass guitar aren't panned too prominently, as this makes the bass much quieter when mixed down to mono (in situations with a single speaker), makes it harder to press vinyl where low frequency grooves need to be centered, and sounds off-balance in headphones.

A minor piece of feedback that you can ignore, but wanted to share just in case!
