yup love that bass line, and percs, feeling some prodigy vibes (just missing a breakbeat and heavy sub)
that bass tho!
*i will not post mr peepers gif i will not post mr peepers gif i will NOT post mr peepers gif.
**but i want to.
FOCUS!
I'd say you've done an excellent job of capturing the feeling of brain fog in the form of sound. The little bell at the end was a nice touch, almost like it's calling you back to attention.
I had the imagination of a dancefloor scene, a fog machine, blue and red and white neon lights blinking diffuse, people crying, I could not feel my body and I was about to fade out. Terrible nightmare …… and a very intense song.
Can't go wrong with a 808 cowbell. In fact, the only cure is more cowbell!
This is in an entirely different style and genre than I usually associate with you. Nice to hear some more of your range!
As others have said, the bass (or sub-bass?) did something to my brain The percussion variety is insane and totally all works together. The long reverb-y vocals that you forget are even vocals sound so good.
I too can relate wit da fog. The contrast of the groove and the synths is suhweet! Separately different but together they create this symbiotic dance. Synthy bass sounds gewwwwd too
loving the bonus stereo elements
this is a really great groove and then I want to drop the OD remix house music banger
