the birds are singing

Tbh I think your track is mixed better then Jwh's lol

Love the ukulele

ooooh yes, love these collabs, so fun to hear the different directions you and jwh take. This was very lovely and the laptop mic is a great reminder that we don't need fancy gear. Ok... now to listen to the jwh version!!

The ukulele strum on both of your versions is simple, but very pretty and catchy.  Your version feels like the forest spirits are singing to us.  Very ethereal and otherworldly.  Another nice collab and it's fascinating to see the different directions you two take it in.

thanks for getting me out of the house. u r the best heart

Another beautiful collab. big_smile I like the phasing effect on the ukulele!

Lovely choral vocals and the ukelele is so magical.

Lovely and dreamy heart also very end-credits of a cute video game starring little animals camping in the woods lol

such a soothing feel throughout.   all i need now is a hammock smile

nice result with laptop mics!  perfect gif - outside, floral, dark

Great work and the mic liked too

I love both of the different versions, nice job. So soothing.

Deep in the woods ~ the faerie version.love these woods, they feel so sparkly, soft and bright with wet moss and dew drops

had me swimming in the mystical aura of its spaciousness, even through the 30 seconds of silence at the end(was expecting an easter-egg at the end, just like in Josh's version, but i suppose the easter-egg of my blissfully satisfied ears was enough big_smile )

great work and its super fun that you're both doing your own version of the track!

Love how you treated your vocals to create this warm floating layer, another great collab.

Lovely, lovely track... as always

Have you ever heard of Monome Norns? I think your style of sound design would really jive with some of the apps on that platform. I should bring mine by some time.

thank you for listening & commenting heart
hope you've all had a chance to see some spring ephemerals & get lost in the woods
we think we saw a beaver this week along the river here

i had not heard of that cool computer box noise machine - but i have heard of Lua & have been hoping to switch over to Linux as an os & try out reaper eventually - i feel intimidated by this style of music box creating but it seems like a fun rabbit hole to go down - if only i had more brain bandwith these days... i have some projects in the queue before i could throw another cool rabbit hole in the mix
- but would love to see what that little Monome Norns is all about some time! heart
